THE HON. A. J. NICHOLSON

Senator Arnold Joseph Nicholson was born in Rock River, Clarendon on February 28, 1942 to the late Arnold A. Nicholson, a public health inspector and his wife Bernice.

He was educated at Rock River Elementary, Excelsior High School, the University College of the West Indies, the Middle Temple Inn of Court in London and the University of London.
Senator Nicholson began his professional career in banking and worked in that profession from 1964 to 1968. In 1972 he was called to the Bar and practised law both in Jamaica and Grenada between 1972 and 1992.

Sen Nicholson has served in various capacities in the Jamaican Government, as Senator, Minister of Justice, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Attorney General amongst other titles.

He is a member of the Baptist faith and enjoys reading, music, cricket and dancing. He is married to Yvonne and has two sons.

Donald B. Campbell – Design Engineer. His career spans over forty years of product & tooling design, document management administration and being a notary public for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania notarizes invention disclosers for a corporate engineering group based in Easton Pennsylvania.

He was born in Beckford - Rock River, Clarendon to the late Harold and Ina Campbell.

Educated at Rock River - Mt. Zion to the current primary school. Most important, attended Sunday school at St James Anglican “The Hill Side Church”. A foundation student of Vere Technical High School.

Higher education graduate of Newark College of Engineering, (now known as New Jersey Institute of Technology) in Newark, New Jersey and BA degree in Business Administration from Muhlenberg College, Allentown Pennsylvania.

He enjoys boating, dancing and fishing. Donald is married to Sandra; their children are Bruce and Cindy.

A lifelong Trucker by trade, Pressa, as he is affectionately known, grew up in Rock River and attended the Rock River All Age School. He worked with the Ministry of Agriculture before he migrated and has lived in Florida ever since. He is a lifelong philanthropist and has been giving to every cause that benefits not only his community but his fellow man. As an advisor to the Rock River Foundation he continues to help in every way imaginable.
